I am still thinking should we connect the star routed AGND and DGND just beside the processor pin Vss (it has two such pins)? as Erik you say , or a one solid GND plane as Kai says ? .Thanks for the links, I had already read the two out of the three posted links earlier , some how I missed the middle one.

I am posting a rough scheme below please have a look.
