And I've seldom seen an RTOS (at least, of a suitable scale for an 8051) that did come with mass-storage as a standard, built-in feature.

Hence my doubt was specifically about an RTOS:

But I agree that things described as "OS" for "computer" type applications most generally do include mass-storage.

However, it looks to me as though he wants a user-interface of some sort.

Yes, that's what I understood by "command prompt" in the original subject line.

Again, this is not the kind of thing that I'm used to seeing in things described as "RTOS"
