#143743 - This is good news... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
This means that the ARM devices all tend to have predictable behaviour and performance. This is good news. I hope NXP did not add their quirky, status bit , boot vector, 3 pulse programming entry.... I have now completed a product based on the Renesas R8C/Tiny series microcontroller, which I started 2 years ago, which did not seem to have the quirks of the NXP microcontrollers which I tried to design with. I think, one of the reasons for the predictable behaviour of the Renesas controller is their proprietory programming tool ( you have to purchase it from them), they dont reveal their programming algorithm, and you cannot make your own kitchen programmer.
