#143554 - It\'ll be the start when the low-end ARM costs less
Responding to: ???'s previous message
than a high-end 805x.

The ARM has numerous features, and not just in hardware, that aren't available for 805x users, starting with a really high-quality no-cost development software suite. Then, too, there's the availability of an OS. If you can run your development AND your firmware on the target system, the debug is less effort and more likely to succeed.

It's just a matter of time.

The ARM guys knew what they were doing when they bought KEIL. They can prevent its improvement and extension if they want. It's just a business decision, of course.
