Ok, let me make an exception "sample code", "reference code" is deterimental,"code for educational purposes only" can be beneficial in illustrating a point, never as "teaching" a point. Erik If you spend your time looking for someone else's code to do what you think you want to do, you're already "circling the bowl." If you work out your problems, it will take some time, but you'll eventually learn how to do it yourself. OTOH, if you focus on "prior" art, you're likely to become tangled in elements of style, not all of which are good, and learn little. RE |
