It's knowing how to apply the instructions that makes a programmer! It's not what you know that matters - it's what you know how to find! Note that I (and others) frequently suggest to read the so-called "bible" - but never to memorise it! You need to be sufficiently familiar with the "bible" to be able to find things quickly, but pure rote learning is largely poointless! With time & practice, of course, you will become more familiar with the instruction set and will need to look things up less frequently. |
