I don't agree with everything Bush says, but I vehemently disagree that Bush is trying to become a dictator.<p>

Probably not in the usual definition of dictator (like, time in office is only limited by lifespan of dictator), but he does want to make sure that his neocon buddies stay in power regardless of what "the people" think and vote for. And they're probably slightly more clever at fudging elections that the Commies ("Yay, our head-of-party got a 96% approval rate again") - they don't care about fantasy numbers, just about staying in power, and you don't even need to get 50% of the votes for that.

Electronic voting, anyone ? Re-zoning ?
