#122385 - I don't like the feminine hygiene product ads Responding to: ???'s previous message |
They seem to have no problem with putting them on at mealtimes, either.
Further, for a country whose largest preventable health threat is obesity, the food ads, disingenuous as they are, certainly are inappropriate. Craig, you're gonna love this! We need to tax the advertisers proportionally to the aggregate weight gain of the population that's at least 110% of the increase in revenue due to those commercials plus 10x the cost of the commercials. Tax=T, ad cost=A, Weight gain in percent =W, revenue increase attributable to the commercial (according to the ad agency)= R. T=10*A+K*10*W*R, where K is a proportionality constant greater than 1.0 RE |
