there was some nutter who was trying to tell me that all modern industry is based on alien technology which was first discovered in new mexico where this spaceship crashed in roswell,which i am sure you have all heard about.
The idea is that we used the alien technology to produce the primative hardware which got apollo to the moon, however i did point out to this nutter that in less than 50 years we have taken this supposedly alien technolgy and improved it beyond all recognition, and these aliens where buzzing round the gallaxy using early 50's technology and hadnt been able to improve on it.So either a bunch of spotty geeks who dont change their underwear very much are way better at understanding the alien technology than the aliens orthe idea is a load of plop.
