Thanks for your helpful contribution. Kalpak Dabir, one of our other members is an obviously enlightened academic contributor here, from the other side of the fence from the students, and he says much the same.

Really all we ask is SOME sign of having looked around a bit !

As you know, you, me, Kalpak, and the senior members here didn't get senior using the Internet.

BTW is "Gopal." an acceptable contraction of your name, or are you always addressed in full ?
