Do you mean PC? then: Nonononono! I don't know for sure for the original PC, but AT contains 8042 as a keyboard controller, that's basically 8048. I doubt the PC would contain '51 and then they downgraded. The keyboard itself contained a lot of different chips (presumably based on cost) surprisingly most of them Motorolas. However, the clones might contain anything, including '51s. JW |
