I am intrested in knowing the funtionalities of an FPGA.
study Mr. Boole, then have a look at synchronizing asymnchrpnous signals, then look at propagation delays, then look at metastable, then ... It ain't that simple, however it IS fun. It is about 87 times easier to program something intermitent into a FPGA than it is to do so in a uC. I can teach someone to program a FPGA in, maybe, a day, to teach someone to program one so that no 'rarely occuring strange things' happen will take, at least, months. Erik |
