When reading C you never know if the writer is try to deliberatly disguise a functions function in order to make it harder to reverse engineer which is actualy a valid thing to try to do
I object vehemently.

If somebody obtain your source, you are screwed regardless. Making it difficult for the poor sod that after you have left get assigned to legally maintain you screwy code is indecent.
