While i agree that a HLL should make it easy to think in terms of a natural language,it shouldnt allow programmers to utterly divorce themselves from the practicalities of the system which they are writing the code for.Too many programmers write code which looks silly because they don't understand what it is that their natural language constructs translate to.A programmer should be able to take his natural language understanding of the problem and its solution and be able to translate that into a form which fits their end system.
