we have had the original question several times over the years, so Adam is not the only .... that does not read the datasheet before designing.

HOWEVER all previous posters heve seen the error of their way and redesigned instead of making excuses.

what would it be like if, every time my program did not work, I posted "bug in the compiler" on the Keil forum.
what would it be like if, every time my hardware did not work, I posted "bug in the chip" on the SILabs forum.

In that case, I think if a potential employer scanned the fora before talking to me there would be no interview.
