#185765 - Oh, boohoo!
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Your Atmel part works exactly the same as any other 8051 based part for the past three decades. Thousands upon thousands of designs have been based around it, selling countless millions of devices.

But you just didn't bother to read the datasheet and you dismiss offhand the fine solutions Michael has provided you (which, incidentally, is probably used in more than 75% of all 8051 based designs) because you "don’t want to use Low-Active Design". Then you go on and show you have no idea what you're actually talking about, seeing as how your "cold solder joint" would not cause the situation you describe.

"What can I say" you ask. Well, I think you shouldn't say anything for a while. Just stop stamping your li'l feet like a three-year old and start doing the right thing, which is, much as you may deplore it, using the correct hardware solution, such as has been kindly handed to you by Michael.
