#185445 - linker support?
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Richard Erlacher said:
I use the ASEM-51 because (a) it came with MIDE51, where I discovered it has really decent doc's, and (b) it has linker and macro support, including some handy features that you can either use or ignore.

I have never seen any mention of a linker in their online documentation. Which linker does it support and using what format?

And more in general, there is only one free 8051 assembler that supports linking and that is ASxxxx which is used by SDCC. All other assemblers with linker output are commercial.
