#185427 - the good and the bad Responding to: ???'s previous message |
the good:
The ASEM51 is pretty clearly documented I do, for that reason always suggest ASM51 as a 'starter' for learning '51 assembly. The documentation is clear and concise. the bad: ASM51 is a "linker free" assembler and thus unusable for larger projects. so, if you want to get into '51 assenbly, start with metalink and when you have conqoured that, switch to an assembler with a linker.
