I tried Keil A51 but it seemed to be incompatable with my Serial downloader.

junk downloaders only work when the .hex is sequential, which it is not from Keil

also, if you are using ASM51 ignore all the discussion above about libraries and modularizing. ASM51 do not use a linker and can thus not handle libraries and modules. For that reason ASM51 is virtuallu unusble for anything >~1000 lines
