That's not an inherent limitation of the 8051 architecture I think that a baudrate higher than 19200 can solve this issue. with the right choice of derivative and clock you can (I have) easily get 460kb. the plain vanilla with a T2 and a 11.0592MHz crystal can go to 115kb Erik |
