#179986 - Not a useful skill to learn Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Learning to use an 8255 is of no practical use and I can't think of an educational benefit either. Commercial electronics moves faster than academia, and no employer will be impressed to see "I interfaced an ADC to an 8051 using an 8255" on a CV. "I interfaced an ADC to a micro using an I2C bus" is a marketable skill and has more educational content. |
