Hi guys,
I discovered that both the soldering stations I used had a problem with the earth connection. Both these stations have quite a few miles on them but since they both work, I assumed (yes, yes i know!) them to be correctly earthed as they once were. Will fix them up and try again. Thanks for the replies, I learned something today! :-) Henk |
