I did try to remove the 1K gate resistors on each of the FETs at once, and at switch-on ALL the FETS popped. Not the satisfying sort of pop with smoke and a bang though. The FET seems to always conduct, varying slightly with changes in the gate bias. I also tried a 10k pull-up with the 1k in place at the FET's gate, same problem. Will try without the 1k resistor, thanks for the advice! :-) |
