#171798 - ADuC816 Problem |
I'm having a problem with the ADuC816 microconverter/controller.
I am trying to input an analog sinusoidal voltage signal with a 2.5 V dc offset, take the average over 20 or so samples, and find the peak value of the voltage signal from this average. However, no matter what I do, the chip seems to put out only the DC offset. I was just looking at the data sheet and it says just before the ADC outputs, it sums and averages the current value with the previous value. Is this probably what is causing only the DC offset to be output? This is the only chip that I have to work with, so it would be nice to know I'm not working towards something that I might need to add some hardware to get finished. |
