I was familiar with the 465 and bought the 475A for the extra bandwidth, but didn't want to unlearn operating the thing by Braille. My 2467 is faster and has 4 channels, but i like the 475A because it's familiar to the touch. These computer-controlled instruments require one to look at the instrument to make adjustments. I don't find that helpful. With the old 'scope, I can probe and look at the display without having to figure out what each knob does in which context. It makes it easier to drive the thing. RE |
