I own a TDS2024, and we have various Tek digitals here at work.

They have menus.

But the features that are present on an analog 'scope (vertical gain, timebase, trigger) are all available on dedicated knobs.

The menus are easy to navigate, for instance when you press the trigger button you can change the edge polarity, trigger type, auto/normal mode, etc.

Really, modern digital 'scopes have pretty decent user interfaces.
