you need a frnsel lens first of all it collects the ir and concentrate it on the
PIR
without it you will find a lot of false alarms that will not make you able to complete your project and try to get the panasonic
PIR it give you a complete 5 volt as an output ( if you are using a 5 volt as vcc ) when it is activated
other PIRs need a 4 stage ampilification steps including the comparetor.
