Good solutions for some situations. The two SIL cables works OK when the pin assignments of the DIL end are flexible. When the DIL end is already assigned such that pin 1 goes to pin 1, 8 to 8, 9 to 9 and 16 to 16 on the ribbon cable then the SIL cables are not a good choice. The small adapter you showed from Amazon is great except it is only a 2x7 on the DIL end. I guess with that adapter you have to handle the LCD backlight with separate flying wires. Michael Karas |
