#186793 - A strong headlight that can be dimmed makes car drivers care Responding to: ???'s previous message |

Some of the new high intensity front lights can dazzle oncoming traffic (speaking from experience) and there's no requirement for them to be properly aligned like car dipped beam headlights. The good thing with a strong headlight - that also supports two intensities - is that when you reduce the intensity, the car driver does it too. Normally, car drivers totally ignore cyclists making it almost impossible to see the road. You have to aim a tiny bit to the side of the car lights and hope the road is there and without any holes. |
