#185084 - DEJA VU.....CAT-5 ( R(J) - 45) )
Hai all

According to the spec.,that the Cat-5 cable POE able to work at 0.27 A,48 VDC,13 WATT max.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category_5_cable

Simple POE able to built with only few components.

So with HUB,we could built distributed Power Supply from 1 Power Supply(i.e: 1 master to 3 anothers slaves)
in this case like this HUB...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethernet_hub

Without needed anothers AC to DC converter(adaptors) to each distibuted slaves.

================================================================================================

What about when we needed more? like more slaves or more powers distribution?

Since,We have 2 pairs unused cables.Then we have 2 groups (0.27 A,48 VDC,13 WATT max) with 1 ground,Of course.

We could separated that with different Voltages when the kits needed different kinds of PS voltages(means group).

Also,we could combined that 2 groups (0.27 A,48 VDC,13 WATT max.) with 1 ground became "0.54 A,48 VDC,26 WATT max" with trick of kits components PS.

Then at 2009,the spec. of CAT-5 production became 25,5 Watt and more V and I for POE(but seems Indonesia lost that train or that train will never come because "you know how in economics").

Am I False above? Did someone already did that? Links?

Thank you
Jeckson S Ben

NB: Of course that above not the real world but theory,So that reduced little bit and need failure protection.
