anyhow, I think some of the robot amateurs may have gotten some good stuff here as well.

Right now, of all suggested approaches it seems the MEMS gyro will be the first to invstigate. This is a mass market product, so if I can do it for $5 and < 1000 SW man hours it will be an acceptable approach.

anyone know where some good stuff on "where am I relative to where I cam from" with gyros can be found.
