This is an item that will need mass-production to be feasible, thus I have no intention of making amything but a prototype and then go sell/license the idea. Without a patent how can I tell prospective licencees what the thingy is? You let them sign a NDA (see if you can include a hefty compensation if the NDA is broken - that'd probably be the easiest way to get money out of the invention). Basically, anyone who sees the invention must either be someone you trust, or someone who's signed a NDA. No need for "either". Let everyone sign the NDA. It doesn't cost much to sign a NDA as long as you don't keep a loose mouth or store copies of documents in a way that they can be recklessly lost. One problem when multiple people have signed a NDA is to figure out who spilled the beans. |
