I do come across this issue all the time, when I measure a rail of say 420 - 560 volts. I can always manage precision errors by calibration. But the way the resistor behaves at different voltages is what is difficult to manage. Not sure why it happens. At the end, instead of straight divider network, a series parallel compensating network does the trick. Even then certain non-linearity will exist. |
