#178980 - FTDI (equipped)
Responding to: ???'s previous message

Buy only FTDI (equipped) adapters

I suspect it would still be possible to mis-apply an FTDI part in a poor design, and end up with something that displays the same cheap-&-nasty characteristics.

I once had a cheap-&-nasty multifunction hub thing that messed-up some other USB stuff.
The hub used an FTDI chip, but FTDI told me that the design wasn't properly done - hence the conflicts.

:-(
