In this schematic for sure there is no zero crossing detector. The code posted (as already noted at previous messages) does not use correctly the MCU pins to fire the Triac. Using two leds the resistor of 470R at MOC3020 should be at 120R to 68R to provide 8-15mA to function. The Triac hot line with these Watt resistors is not connected right. The schematic needs redesign and the code needs to be rewritten.
Another option would be to use the MOC3041 http://www.fairchildsemi.com/ds/MO/MOC3042-M.pdf that has build-in Zero Crossing Detector and is much easier to operate. K.L.Angelis |
