Hi,also we got exact waveform on CRO at the p1.3 pin of micro controller AS PER PROGRAM LOGIC but nothing change in triac output..BLUB BRIGHJT IS NOT CHANGED also we have used multimeter for voltage measurement at triac output side. If this is true (and I am understanding it correctly) the immediate problem is not with your software. Prove that your hardware is functional by simply following these steps- 1. Write a program to turn on the load (P1.3 is high). Ignore the phase angle and do not turn it off. Does the load turn/stay on? If not, investigate why not. 2. Write a program to turn off the load (P1.3 is low). Ignore the phase angle and do not turn it on. Does the load turn/stay off? If not, investigate why not. 3.Write a program to turn on the load for ~1/2 second and off for ~1/2 second repeatedly. Ignore the phase angle. Does the load turn on and off as expected. If not, investigate why not. I repeat: I'll bet you 50c that P1.3 is driving the cathode of your MOC3021, (provided you are indeed driving the LED via a resistor and connected to your Vdd). It is of course possible that P1.3 is blown if you are using a voltage higher than Vdd, but the 3 steps above will establish if you can indeed control the output. |
