Another thing here is that 2kW peak doesn't tell much about the capacity of the amplifier for continuous output.

So the amp will most probably not manage 600W continuously at 8 ohm. The PSU is probably too small to keep the capacitors charged. And it's quite likely that the cooling isn't up to the task either.
