#173272 - Micromint BCC52 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
our team did our senior project with the 8052-BASIC board from Micromint; a home security system. it costs $500 in 1987, for the board plus card cage. probably it was the BCC52. it worked quite well until i plugged a blank EEPROM in backward (flared quite nicely through the erase window). and then hosed the onboard EEPROM programmer by plugging the power jack in backward while programming a new chip. good thing we had an old version of our PROM!
