#173075 - Circuit Cellar Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I had a subscription to Byte, which one day just ended and I started getting some stupid computing-systems-integrator magazine. So I called and got a refund because the new mag was not relevant (who at McGraw-Hill even thought it was?).
I used to have a subscription to Circuit Cellar, but when it came time to renew, their online renewal mechanism was a huge FAIL so I didn't bother. I guess I wasn't that interested. Every time I look at the CC web site to see if anything of use was there, I was disappointed. I really don't care about home automation, which is Ciarcia's big thing. Their articles about USB and FPGAs (two things in which I am interested) were laughable. I suppose it's a more-specific Make: zine (of course Make: came MUCH later), more for the DIY tinkerer and not really much for practicing engineers. -a |
