There are no kits of the projects available and no encouragement is given to the authors to provide PCB layout (I have yet to see one published), assembly details or even bills of material. In my humble opinion the articles are far less of a "sales tool" than the articles in EDN or Electronic Design. I like to see schematics and code and a BOM. I really don't care about PCB layouts or gerber plots, except when the layout requires special attention for certain design aspects. I never really want to duplicate a design published in a magazine. I'm just looking for ideas for things I can incorporate into my own designs. -a |
