It isn't identical data, if he cannot trust the clocking scheme...
If, as I have seen, it is a matter of the load of the shiftregisters failing once in 10,000,000 cases (a lightning strike 200' away or whatever) then I would consider the "reload for safety" quite satisfactory. If it fails in, say 1 of 1000 times, the design is plain faulty and no remedy will save it. Erik |
