The snow that started Tuesday evening has finally stopped, and we have about 15 cm (6") of fluffy white powder on the ground, together with a prediction that it will remain cold enough that it will not begin to melt until the well into the weekend.

This has had an impact on driving, and there have been, and will continue to be, a few traffic mishaps. It has been a few years since the last time there was actually snow on the ground for Christmas. There will surely be snow tomorrow, the beginning of Christmas.

Of course, it's not even 8 in the morning yet. Well, I'got to get out there and shovel the sidewalk.
