I suppose your comments are correct. However, that's not what I was lamenting. The fact is, it costs just as much to plow the snow into the middle of the road as it costs to plow it to the curb, BUT ... if you plow it to the middle, it doesn't block driveways, and it doesn't fall, or melt, onto the sidewalk, and, it doesn't bury cars, or the places where they might park. Further, as I said before, it would save, BILLION$ ($E9) in the U.S. in annual street repairs.

Too bad nobody has considered that yet.
