#167603 - AT89S8253 ISP Programming
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi
I am trying to built a Serial programmer for AT89S8253. I have had success in buliding Serial programmer for AT89S52. The problem I am having is that for AT89S8253 some locations are written correctly and some are not written at all.
Like I am writing at locations 0 to 15 and the correct values are written at location 0, 4, 8, 12.

Is there any difference in programming AT89S52 and AT89S8253? Instruction set is same at least for erase, read and write operations

Anyone else has some experience with AT89S8253 Serial downloading?

Thanks in advance
