I don't know, as Kai stated, of any AT89S53. AT89S8252 is obsolete. AT89S8253 is in production but, again, I would not recommend to use it. Now I am playing with AT89C51RE2 and semms to be fine (I need 2 UARTs, ISP and 3V).
