#167141 - AT89S8253 should be available
Responding to: ???'s previous message
The AT89S8252 is obsolete. I have never seen the AT89S53, sorry. But the AT89S8253 should be available.

The AT89S8253 is rather critical. I would not use it. The built-in oscillator is behaving strange and this micro is sensitive to slow power-ups. Ask Daniel, he is experienced with this micro.
