(read: Atmel has no choice but push the AVRs to the garage and amateurs and the C++ folks; while traditional '51 companies have better to do now. Meanwhile, the '51 which is not patent protected anymore, moved further east, and inside some of the mass produced chips, which means that there's enough programmers for them already). JW |
