AP,That's without crystal and must be I2C/SPI controlled.

You are looking for an oscillator module with I2C or SPI interface to specify the output frequency?

I understood Jeckson in that way, that he is finding fault with that the chip must first be programmed before it will emit a suited clock frequency. As the chip is factory set to the highest frequency, which is 66MHz if I'm right, the microcntroller using this clock chip as its own clock generator might never be able to program it...

The DS1077 can be programmed externally, though, by the help of another microcontroller circuit via the I2C bus. But that's not simple either because the DS1077 comes only in a SMD package.

Another option would be to order a DS1077 that is precalibrated to Jecksons 10MHz. Datasheet tells, that this is possible. But maybe only if Jeckson orders a huge number of these chips...

Change 4 pins oscilator with 2 pins XTal            01/01/70 00:00
You mean "how to make an oscillator"?            01/01/70 00:00
    4 pins oscillator            01/01/70 00:00
      Are you sure            01/01/70 00:00
Yes,replacing osc module with Xtal only            01/01/70 00:00
Can you post the schematic ?            01/01/70 00:00
