#161211 - Thermal stress reduction for IC |
Is it valid if we power OFF a Mesurement signal conditioning IC for few minutes interval (when not in use). Will this destress the IC from Thermal stress and prolonge its life (AnalogDevices598) as this Horse is pretty costly to loose.I have seen it getting good warm at around 55C ambient!
What worry me is will this switching in itself put it under stress though I guess turn on of 60secs and turn off of 5minutes. Ap |
