#160752 - Lethal ramp-down
Responding to: ???'s previous message
The ramp-down can be lethal to EEPROM contents. The application may not realize that the voltage is dropping, and may continue to write to the EEPROM even when the voltage is lower than allowed for a correct write. Note that the safe levels for the processor are not the same as the safe levels for EEPROM writes.

If no external supervisor is used, then it is important to look for a processor with a well-working brownout support.
